Lauren & Dakota
Lauren and Dakota flew in from the United States to get married on 11 June on the Sorrento Peninsula, high above the sea near Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. The morning began with the dress hanging against old wood, sandals waiting on a staircase of hand-painted majolica tiles and the rings resting among calla lilies.
Lauren's father walked her down the garden path to the edge of the cliff, where they said their vows with nothing but the sea behind them and the wind lifting her veil.
As the sun went down we took portraits along the clifftop, then dinner was served under a wooden pergola strung with lights, at long tables set with painted ceramic plates and blue hydrangeas. A live band played, they danced their first dance, and the night ended with the cake in a cloud of smoke and sparklers.
Planning a wedding on the Sorrento Coast or elsewhere in Italy? I'd love to hear your story.
